It seems unlikely
that a swashbuckler and a sea creature could become friends, but
when a cranky yet lovable Pirate gets thrown overboard, thus begins
our story of The Pirate & the
Squid.
With his wise-cracking Parrot in tow, a Pirate is led through an underwater adventure -- thanks to a benevolent Squid. In effort to find his way back to shore, they meet, and learn all about, a Sea Snail, Crab, Seahorse, and potentially dangerous Shark. What ensues is an educational escapade, which embodies the theme of unexpected friendship.
The Pirate & the Squid requires 5 actors,
minimal space and set, and has a running time of 30 minutes.
